Hello
Nicole Igarashi is a dedicated advocate with a special interest in neuroqueering and acts of neuro-anarchy. She has years of experience supporting other neurodivergent individuals and their communities.
She has lots of personal experince with gentle parenting, homeschooling, and navigating the educational supports offered to our neurodivergent children as well.
As an accomplished entrepreneur who launched her first restaurant at 30, Nicole brings a wealth of experience around the subject of masking and the dowstream effects of a lifetime of trying to be "indistiguishable from " her peers.
Her expertise extends to complex topics like pathological demand avoidance, masking, burnout, and late-diagnosed AuDHD that the medical model often struggles to understand. She has experience navigating internalized ableism and healing generational trauma, chronic pain and autoimmune issues.
Nicole is certified in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, Shamanic life coaching, and is an Usui Reiki Master, and is currently studying Yin Yoga. She has been featured in the Power to Fly Summit 2023 and Medium Day 2023, discussing autistic burnout recovery and community activism, and appeared in Jay Z and Ron Howard's Made in America Documentary in 2014.
This is an autistic-led Discordian meetup space and as such doesn't require the presence of a licensed practitioner of any sort. Here, the discussion about identifying as neurodivergent is political, social, personal, energetic, and spiritual but not medical.
Come here to ask: where am I stuck and what can I learn from that? What do I have to let go of? What do I gain, and how do I do it?
Interested in reality-shifting? Pattern-lifting? Been there? Done that? Over it? Damaged by it? Ready to make your own rules?Me, too. Now you're here. Let's talk truth.
"In conclusion, there is no conclusion. Things will go on as they always have, getting weirder all the time.
Hail Eris. All hail Discordia. Fnord?"
